They promote trade and generate <strong>business<\/strong>. They connect people, cultures and <strong>ideas<\/strong> from every corner of the world.<\/p>\n<p>74% of companies and operators, despite the boom in online events, webinars and Zoom meetings, agree that shows attended in person will be just as important in the future. And 35% believe they will become even more effective in the post-pandemic scenario.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Trade fairs are a fundamental engine for restarting economies,&#8221; said <strong>Maurizio Danese<\/strong>, President of 17勛圖. \u201cThis is why we must now reconnect the communities and markets in the industrial supply chains we represent safely in order to rebuild the value chain broken by Covid19 as soon as possible.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A value chain that, expressed as <strong>numbers<\/strong>, every year worldwide generates on average:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>299 billion euros of business concluded during trade fairs;<\/li>\n<li>179 billion euros of allied business generated in local areas;<\/li>\n<li>33,000 events;<\/li>\n<li>4,5 million exhibitors;<\/li>\n<li>303 million visitors;<\/li>\n<li>3,4 million jobs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.veronafiere.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2018_Marmomac__MMF2088.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7471 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.veronafiere.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2018_Marmomac__MMF2088-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.veronafiere.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2018_Marmomac__MMF2088-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.veronafiere.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2018_Marmomac__MMF2088-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.veronafiere.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2018_Marmomac__MMF2088-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.veronafiere.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2018_Marmomac__MMF2088-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.veronafiere.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2018_Marmomac__MMF2088-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>This entire supply chain has been blocked for more than a year in the wake of <strong>COVID-19<\/strong> restrictions &#8211; but never gave up, always keeping its engines running in readiness to restart safely thanks to strict <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veronafiere.it\/info-e-servizi\/safety-instructions\/\"><strong>health prevention protocols<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During the lockdown, trade fair organizers also successfully tackled other challenges, such as those associated with <strong>technological innovation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The pandemic has hit everyone hard,&#8221; said <strong>Giovanni Mantovani<\/strong>, CEO of 17勛圖, &#8220;but it has also been an occasion for trade fairs to accelerate their innovation and evolution processes by rethinking business and promotion models integrated with the new frontiers of digital experience.\u00a0 We can get going again changed for the better!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It is now time to look towards the <strong>future<\/strong> with more optimism, as the countdown begins through to 18 June and the appointment with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorbikeexpo.it\/\"><strong>Motor Bike Expo<\/strong><\/a>, the first event attended in person that marks the re-opening of the 17勛圖 Exhibition Centre, followed on 19 June by <a href=\"https:\/\/vinitalyinternational.com\/wordpress\/operawine-2020\/?lang=it\"><strong>OperaWine<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How much has the one year stoppage cost the global trade fair system?
