17³Ô¹Ï welcomes visit by City of Changping
17³Ô¹Ï opened a new bridgehead in Asia thanks to the visit by the government and trade delegation of the City of Changping, China, under the guidance of Secretary Liu Yuchang. 17³Ô¹Ï was represented for the occasion by Vice President Matteo Gelmetti and Sales Director Flavio Innocenzi.
Changping is a major industrial city with 500,000 inhabitants in the province of Guangdong, as well as a key logistics hub for the Guangzhou and Shenzhen economic corridors. The delegation representing a group of Chinese investors expressed interest in developing partnerships, especially in the marble processing technology and agro-food sectors.
“Asia today is a market of large numbers,” said Vice-president Gelmetti, “and it will become more so even in terms of quality. This is why China plays a central role in 17³Ô¹Ï’s international strategy. We will assess possible collaboration with the city of Chagping with the utmost attention, not the least in the light of its geographical proximity to Shenzhen, where we will launch Wine to Asia – our new multi-channel promotion platform – in 2020.”
